Swim is a Remote Sync Timer for Symbian phones

Swim is a Remote Sync Timer for Symbian phonesSwim is a utility for automatic periodic synchronization of data with internet servers such as Google Calendar (through GooSync), Mobical, Zyb and Ovi. It makes use of the existing SyncML support in the system, and adds timing capabilities, something both UIQ and S60 mysteriously lack! You can set it to sync your data every 15 minutes, every hour, every 4 hours, every 12 hours, daily, or weekly.

Swim is now available for both UIQ and S60!

Program is unsigned, you need to sign it. You can open sign here.

(Swim 0.41 for S60)
Swim_040_UIQ.SIS (Swim 0.40 for UIQ)

I have been testing it since seeing it on allaboutsymbian (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79198). It works great so far for me.

If you keep Sync open and watch it, it appears that it's not syncing, but when you close Sync and re-open the time is updated. Sync just doesn't refresh the last-synced time automatically.

Also, the program doesn't show up as running under handytaskman, but it is.

This should have been out of the box for Sync, but I'm glad someone stepped up and wrote it. And opensource, too! Too bad it has to be signed...
